I decided to take a wee bit of a break today and head into the Yorkshire Dales for some fresh air and exercise. The weather forecast looked really promising, so we decided to visit Arkengarthdale, which is to the north of Swaledale. The route I'd picked was to start at the village of Langthwaite and walk up through the old lead mine workings in Slei Gill. Well the weather forecast turned out to be very inaccurate, and we ended up with strong winds, light rain and cloudy skies. It didn't really matter though, as been out on the moors is better than been stuck in the house working all day, regardless of the weather!
