It was a really long drive up to Skye, it took just over 9 hours with a couple of stops. The weather for most of the way was awful, rain and strong winds up to Fort William, so we didn't get to see much of the drive alongside Loch Lomond or Glen Coe. By the time we'd gotten as far as Glen Garry the weather had cleared into heavy showers, so we got some lovely views of mountains and lochs as we drove through Kintail towards Skye. When we eventually reached the cottage, on the north east coast of Skye near to Staffin we thought Tim deserved a bit of a run after been stuck in the car all day. So after a cuppa and unpacking the car we took him down to Port Earlish, as small rocky cove about 2 minutes walk from the cottage.
